Open Quantum Gravity:
Insights into Black Holes,Cosmology
and Holography

SCOPE

This workshop explores the frontier of open quantum gravity, where non-unitary frameworks and interactions with external environments challenge conventional quantum mechanics. Key topics include pseudo-Hermitian gravity with PT symmetry—illuminating real energy spectra and phase transitions in open systems—as well as the role of dissipation and decoherence near black hole and cosmological horizons. We will investigate quenched holography, non-equilibrium phenomena, and the evolution of quantum information (e.g., Krylov complexity, multi-partite entanglement) in strongly coupled systems. Through these studies, the workshop aims to deepen our understanding of black hole formation, quantum chaos, and longstanding puzzles like the information paradox. By bringing together experts in non-Hermitian quantum mechanics, holography, and quantum field theory, this event fosters collaboration that pushes the boundaries of how we conceive quantum gravity in open systems.
