NAKWOO KIM / PROFESSOR
I am a theoretical physicist specialized in superstring theory, gauge field theory, general relativity. In particular I am interested in the construction of explicit solutions in supergravity, and the computation of physical quantities exactly using supersymmetry.

Euihun Joung / PROFESSOR
I primarily work on Higher Spin Gravity, which extends Einstein’s gravity by incorporating infinitely many massless particles of higher spins. My research also covers holography (AdS/CFT correspondence), exploring quantum gravity through connections between gravitational theories and conformal field theories. Additionally, I study modified gravity theories such as Conformal (Weyl) Gravity and Colored Gravity.

JUNGGI YOON / PROFESSOR
My primary research interests lie in quantum field theory, quantum gravity, and quantum information theory, with a particular emphasis on holography and the reconstruction of spacetime. Black hole physics—especially the black hole information paradox—serves as a central theme in my work. I am particularly interested in gravitational edge modes, non-unitary systems, and multi-partite entanglement.
