K-THEP Decameron
:Ten Tales of Physics
SCOPE
The K-THEP Decameron is a summer workshop and retreat organized by the Kyung Hee Theoretical High Energy Physics group. Inspired by Boccaccio’s Decameron, the workshop brings students, researchers, and faculty together away from the regular pace of the semester to share stories of physics, learn new ideas, and build future collaborations.
The workshop is designed to serve both as an academic program and as a group retreat. Through lectures, tutorials, parallel sessions, and invited talks, participants will study the foundations needed for summer research projects and explore topics that are not easily covered during the regular semester. The scientific program will include a broad range of subjects, from theoretical high energy physics to quantum simulation, machine learning, and related modern approaches to theoretical and computational physics.
We hope that the workshop will become a place where lectures turn into conversations, conversations turn into questions, and questions turn into future collaborations.
