Dynamical stability and critical exponents of the (S-type) Gubser-Rocha model with momentum dissipation

The (S-type) Gubser-Rocha model is a holographic model that shows linear-T dependence of the entropy density, and conductivity in presence of the momentum dissipation. With an appropriate choice of the boundary action, this model also exhibits a phase transition in the neutral limit. We investigate several aspects of this phase transition: critical exponents, and dynamical stability. We show that the critical exponents match those in the mean-field percolation theory. From the quasinormal modes, we also show that the dynamical (in)stability agrees with the thermodynamic one, and an emergence of the Nambu-Goldstone modes in the S-type model.
