Classical to Quantum? - Black Hole Thermodynamics-

We take a look at the Black Hole in Gravity theories from the holography principle to understand the underlying Quantum properties. Higher curvature terms in four or more spacetime dimensional gravities are anticipated, e.g., from string theory perspectives. We primarily focus on the Gauss-Bonnet (G-B) term effects. In addition to the physical properties, their role in thermodynamic properties will also be examined.
